Once again, students at Diss High School have achieved some outstanding A level results; the pass rate was 99.8 %, with more than 60% of all grades being A* to B.
Notable successes include Chantelle Lee, who gained an A*, two As and a B in her four A Levels, as well as an A* in her Extended Project Qualification; she will be reading History at the University of Cambridge. Lauren Coleman achieved two A*s, an A and B and will read Classics at Oxford University. Matt Tyler, who is going to Bath University to study Mathematics, also achieved an A*, two As and a B in his four A Levels. Daniela Castro-Kerridge was awarded an A* and two As and plans to have a gap year before starting university in 2018. Emily Nash will read Geography and Politics at Edinburgh University, having gained three As and a B. Harriet Budds achieved three As and will be studying Dance at the University of Surrey. Oscar Seaman, who gained an A*, an A and a B, will be taking a degree in International Relations at Leeds University.
