SCHOOL OF ROCK!

Tickets were sold out every night for Diss High’s recent performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Next Generation School of Rock – The Musical.” The musical follows an out-of-work rock singer and guitarist who pretends to be a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. After identifying the musical talent in his students, he forms a band of fifth-graders, in an attempt to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands contest. The whole cast and band performed to an exceptionally high level with standout performances from Will Ashwood as Dewey and Eloise Whittaker as Rosalie Mullins. Amy Bishop, Director and Producer and Richard Beckett Musical Director, were congratulated by the cast and audience for a first rate job.
